ESTATES When an individual dies owning
property, the property passes to the decedent’s heir either through the
terms of a Will (testate) or without a Will (intestate). There are
certain legal requirements that must be met before the property can
effectively and completely pass from the decedent to the heir(s). The
process of transferring the assets from the decedent to the heir(s) is
referred to as “probating an estate.” This office can
help you if you need to probate an estate. Please
contact our office for more information. |
